A Silent Pool

A silent pool lies drifting,
stilled by stars' reflections
and shimmered times
by wind.

A silent pool, deep,
deeper, and of soul;
ocean's depth of mother
and crystle blood of Earth.

It draws me in
'til gasping fills
my liquid skin,
and, growing gills from lungs,
I swim.

Spiral slowly,
drowned in gravity's cool gait;
still submerged,
I recline sublime,
rest in silence
and in peace.

Down, downward
to the mirrored stars
that circle,
slowed by silence,
until slumber, endless slumber
overtakes.
