Dear Poets & Reader's

Welcome to Issue 2.#  of  "Numbat" - updated:  30th November 2008.

I am fortunate in having such wonderful friends over many years. I wish to Thank you all -

So far I have been unable
to find the disks for the years and 2004 - 2005, full of your wonderful poetry.
If you saw the amount disks floating
around the computer work area; disks not even dated - nada; "others simply say poetry" or nothing at all,  At times I dont wanta' think about it.
I shall keep on hunting, reading disks.

Poets & Readers,At long last I have found one disk with some poems dated from - 1998, Poetry Downunder days, enjoy.

I forgot to mention - after the old site just sat online.
When the First Issue of Numbat 2007# was published, we had over 7000 reader through the site. Well done poets.

And I also regret, that until there is a major change in funding for the arts in Australia - we are unable to offer any payment to contributors.
Nor can we offer payment in kind in the form of a 'copy of the book' as does the print media. We all see the potential of the internet
to reach a much larger readership over a much wider area as some compensation for this.
